The First Annual Havasu Party was an absolute blast. We BBQ'ed and then spent the remainder of the day out on the water floating. We retired to my house that night for more food, swimming and Margaritas. If you missed it, hopefully you will make it next year. To those that attended, thanks for coming. It was a blast.

IN MEMORY OF MARTIN HOOPER |  For those that do not know, Rita lost her brother, Martin to Cancer on August 5, 2007. Martin graduated from Glendora High in 1974 and was an absolute HUGE Nascar Fan.

Obituary Posted in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune on August 10, 2007: HOOPER-Martin Hooper, 51 of Glendora, Ca., passed away August 5, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on April 5, 1956 in Montebello, California to Elma and Marvin Hooper. Martin graduated from Glendora High School on 1974. For 25 years Martin worked in the field of Telecommunications. His hobbies included boating, sports and was a huge Nascar fan. Martin was preceeded in death by his father. He will be remembered and missed by all his family, friends and co-workers. May he rest in peace. Arrangements are pending.
